To instill ownership amongst Pakistanis to keep themselves and their surroundings clean, ‘Hoga Saaf Pakistan’ (“HSP”), powered by Dettol, has launched a new Safai Anthem. The anthem envisions a Saaf Pakistan featuring all the HSP ‘Safai Champions’ which include Fahad Mustafa and Shaniera Akram as the prime champions, along with Waseem Badami and Iqrar ul Hasan. The anthem has been sung by Asim Azhar and Aima Baig with Shuja Haider’s composition.

“Hoga Saaf Pakistan”, powered by Dettol, has been working towards driving a Saaf Pakistan through several TV shows, public service messages, clean-up, and handwashing drives as well as celebrity supporters.

The movement is also Dettol and ARY’s contribution to Prime Minister’s “Clean Green Pakistan” initiative launched in October last year.

Hamza Akram Qawwal and Brothers Received High Honor from the Governor of Maryland for their Services in the State

Pakistan’s acclaimed Qawwali Stars; Hamza Akram Qawwal and Brothers Taimoor Akram and Abdul Akram, have received the citation certificate by the Governor of Maryland for their outstanding services in the State.

The award-winning ensemble has been on their 6th American tour, hitting the stage in major cities as a part of their “Sufi Qawwali US Tour”. Covering major venues and garnering critical acclaim, they have been at the receiving end of praises for their contributions for the entertainment scene in the State, representing Pakistan in front of an international audience. The citation certificate from the Governor of Maryland adds another achievement in the list of accolades to their names.

The group is all set to hit Dubai for their next tour destination from 1st December till 8th December. The grandsons of the revered Munshi Raziuddin are acclaimed worldwide for their riveting interpretations of qawwali.

SOLIS Music & Arts Festival 2019 was successfully concluded in Karachi, after providing many electrifying moments.

Kashmir - The Band Gives a Message of Hope with the Release of its New Music Video – ‘Pari’

The popular rock band from Karachi, Pakistan, Kashmir, has just released its latest music video by the name of ‘Pari’.

With Bilal Ali as the lead vocalist, Vais Khan as the lead guitarist, Usman Siddiqui on the bass guitar, Shane J. Anthony on the drums, Zair Zaki as the rhythm guitarist and Ali Raza on the keyboard, the song ‘Pari’ is a sliver of hope meant for all those suffering from depression. With a positive vibe to a social phenomenon that has a negative stigma attached to it, ‘Pari’ portrays a strong message of optimism.

The music video, directed by Ashar Khalid, features a young girl in great despair, who keenly listens on to the nurturing lyrics of the song, penned down by Bilal Ali himself. It is a soft, melodious number giving out a sense of encouragement and staunch support to counter hopelessness.

Kashmir – the Band was formed in 2012 and rose to its fame when it won the Pepsi Battle of the Bands’ Season 2 in 2017. The band is well-known for its energetic stage presence and its unique music which is a fantastic combination of intense guitar tunes, hypnotic vocals, and a compelling bass. Kashmir – the Band won the Lux Style Award for the Best Emerging Talent in Music in 2017 for their song “Kaaghaz Ka Jahaaz”, while their lead singer Bilal Ali also received a nomination in the LSA for the category of Singer of the Year for ‘Khwaab’.

‘Pari’ is a part of their debut album from which their first song ‘Khwaab’ was released late last year.

YNH Films Releases another Fun Video from Wrong No. 2 – Gali Gali

The season’s most awaited film Wrong No. 2 by YNH Films and Distribution Club is finally in the theatres now and has released a new music video ‘Gali Gali’.

A film by the famous Yasir Nawaz, Wrong No.2 hit the big screens nationwide this Eid-ul-Fitr. The song ‘Gali Gali’ is a peppy dance number featuring the Pakistani actress and model Yashma Gill along with the other cast members of the movie. Sung by Shahid Mallya and Isheeta Chakrvarty, the music director of the song is Simaab Sen, while the lyrics have been written by Sameer Rahat. The music video has got an energetic vibe to it and is visually very appealing.

Wrong No. 2 has been produced by Hassan Zia and Sheikh Amjad Rasheed, two of the industry’s most talented producers, whereas the screenplay has been written by Yasir Nawaz. A story by Danish Nawaz while the dialogues of the movie are by the creative genius, Ahmed Hassan. It is a romantic comedy featuring a power-packed cast with the gorgeous Neelum Muneer, Sami Khan and the legendary Javed Sheikh in the lead roles.

Other cast members of the film include Danish and Yasir Nawaz, Ahmed Hassan, Ashraf Khan, Shafqat Cheema, Sana Fakhar, while Irfan Khosat has a guest appearance in the movie.

The season’s much-awaited rom-com by YNH Films and Distribution Club, Wrong No.2 released the video of its first official song ‘Yaariyan’ today.

A film by the most talented Yasir Nawaz, Wrong No.2 has been produced by the entertainment industry’s giants, Hassan Zia and Sheikh Amjad Rasheed, while the screenplay has been written by Yasir Nawaz. The movie is expected to be a love story with a comedic twist, and the song ‘Yaariyaan’ tunes in well with the genre of the film. With Simaab Sen as the music director, Harshdeep Kaur’s melodious voice can be heard singing the newly released soundtrack. The lyrics have been composed by Fatima Najeeb.

Wrong No. 2’s story centers around a rich heiress Zoya, played by the stunning Neelum Munir, who falls in love with a man lower to her in financial status, played by Sami Khan. The love story starts off with a lot of complications that don’t eventually die down. With a series of love interests, family drama and misfortune, the characters in Wrong No.2 get stuck in a crazy ride of romance and emotions, and a whole lot of laughter. The movie sports a powerful cast behind it that includes Jawaid Sheikh, Danish and Yasir Nawaz, Ahmed Hassan, Ashraf Khan, Shafqat Cheema, Sana Fakhar, and many others. Irfan Khosat will also be making a guest appearance in the movie.

It is a story by Danish Nawaz, while the dialogues have been written by Ahmed Hassan. Furthermore, YNH Films, along with Distribution Club, has partnered up with EROS International for the worldwide distribution of the film.

TvOne launched teasers, OST of “Dhund” a mystery series

Karachi, July 12, 2017: TvOne launched teasers, OST of “Dhund” a mystery series in bloggers meet-up with the prominent & talented cast. The Star-studded launch held in Karachi at the Pi Social Cafe.

Hold your Breath! The Dhund of a mystery series is all set to roll on this Saturday, 15th July at 9 PM only on TVOne.

The evening began with cast and crew meet and greet. The writer of the series, the most versatile Mohammad Ahmed along with veteran producer Erum Binte Shahid was welcomed on board by the host of the event “Shehwar Rahim”.

The main leads beautiful Maria Wasti and handsome Hasan Ahmed was also present at the venue.

Later, a visual representation of the series “Dhund” followed by OST was shared with the bloggers & Publications at the event. Expressing her thoughts about the unique concept of “Dhund” Shehwar introduced the supporting cast Zhalay Sarhadi, Junaid (Juni), Laila Wasti, Asad Siddiqui and others.

“Dhund”, a spine-chilling drama series showing eerie encounters with spirits from another world and how a brave woman helps them find peace.

Expressing his delights on the event, Writer/ Actor Mohammad Ahmed said ” I started my writing career as a mystery writer, but I’ve been doing Rom-Coms for years now and that lost idea of mystery series recovered when “Seema Tahir” said Yes! for “Dhund”

Producer Erum Binte Shahid added, “The concept of the mystery series “Dhudh” is different which will build a connection. Maria can see dead people and owns personal tragedy whereas Uzair, (Hasan) plays a young smart and devoted police officer and he is a sincere friend to Maria. Nana Syed (Mohammad Ahmed Sahb) is playing Maria’s grandfather who is also her close confidante.

Then began the bloggers/publication question & answer session. The Q&A session provided mysterious insights about the series and the cast got a chance to share their experiences with the bloggers.

The drama serial “Dhund” is directed by Faiz and the haunting OST is composed by none other than Wajid Saeed, which complements the mysterious feel of the series.
