New reports suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been enjoying access to a remarkably lavish lifestyle through the quiet generosity of American cosmetics billionaire Victoria Jackson. The 70-year-old entrepreneur, often referred to as the Queen of Cosmetics, is said to have opened the doors of her multimillion-dollar homes and private jet to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for years.
According to sources cited by MailOnline, Harry and Meghan regularly stay at Jackson’s expansive Upper East Side brownstone during work visits to New York. The property, complete with a glass elevator, gourmet kitchen and extensive security features, was reportedly their base during the 2023 incident the couple described as a “near-catastrophic” paparazzi chase. The same property was highlighted in Meghan’s Harper’s Bazaar interview, adding further interest to their connection with Jackson.
Their use of Jackson’s hospitality does not end in New York. Reports also indicate that the Sussexes frequently retreat to her Beverly Hills mansion, a 14-bedroom estate once owned by Hollywood icon Buster Keaton. In addition to that, Jackson’s Montecito residence has been a favourite of the family, particularly for Archie and Lilibet, who are said to enjoy the micropigs kept on the property. Meghan is believed to have celebrated her 41st birthday at the Montecito home in 2021.
Insiders claim these properties provide the couple with the level of privacy, comfort, and security they need—without any associated cost. One source noted that the Sussexes have been making use of Jackson’s homes “for years,” adding that the arrangement has been mutually comfortable and convenient.
Jackson’s support of the couple extends to their professional ventures as well. She co-owns the Montecito bookstore Godmothers, the same venue that hosted Meghan’s As Ever pop-up event on November 6. Witnesses saw Meghan personally arranging homemade items and candles inside the event space. The friendship is believed to have taken root after feminist icon Gloria Steinem introduced Jackson to the Sussexes following their departure from royal duties.
In return, Meghan has privately supported Jackson’s business endeavours, including reportedly wearing her No Makeup Makeup products at the 2023 ESPY Awards.
