Pakistan’s Saim Ayub has reclaimed the No.1 position in the ICC Men’s T20I All-Rounder rankings, achieving a career-best 295 rating points in the latest update. His rise came after a standout performance in the Tri-Series final against Sri Lanka, where he delivered both with ball and bat, taking one wicket for 17 runs in four overs and later scoring 36 runs that helped Pakistan secure victory.
Ayub’s surge reflects a string of consistent performances, placing him ahead of Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza, who had briefly overtaken him. Beyond his all-rounder position, he has also made notable progress across individual categories, climbing 12 spots to 39th among bowlers and two spots to 35th among batters.
This week’s largest movement in T20Is came from Sri Lanka’s Kamil Mishara, who jumped an extraordinary 91 places to 18th in the batters’ rankings on the back of consecutive innings of 76 and 59 against Pakistan. His teammate Kusal Mendis has also entered the top 20, moving from 22nd to 20th place. Bangladesh’s Parvez Hossain gained 21 places to 38th after delivering match-winning scores in their 2-1 win over Ireland.
Pakistan’s bowlers saw continued recognition, with Abrar Ahmed moving to fourth in the T20I bowling rankings, now just eight points behind second-placed Jacob Duffy. Mohammad Nawaz, who was named Player of the Series in the Tri-Series, also achieved a career-best ranking, reaching 11th place.
Outside T20Is, India’s Virat Kohli climbed to fourth on the ODI batting chart following a superb 135 against South Africa, his 83rd international century. With 751 rating points, he is now just behind skipper Rohit Sharma, who remains at the top. KL Rahul rose two places to joint 14th after scoring 60 in the same match.
The latest update also includes major changes to Men’s Test rankings after South Africa completed a historic 2–0 series victory in India. Marco Jansen made sizeable gains, rising to second in the Test all-rounder rankings, fifth among bowlers, and 75th among batters after scoring 93 in the opening innings of the second Test. Senuran Muthusamy’s maiden Test hundred helped him leap 28 places, while other South African batters, including Kyle Verreynne and Ryan Rickelton, also progressed.
Off-spinner Simon Harmer made one of the most dramatic advances in the bowling rankings, moving from 45th to 11th after a nine-wicket match haul. India’s Ravindra Jadeja also secured a personal milestone, reaching his best-ever batting points tally of 653 and rising to 23rd in the world.
The latest rankings reflect Pakistan’s growing presence in the T20I format, South Africa’s Test resurgence, and continued dominance from leading figures such as Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja.
