The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PSX: PNSC) has added a new MR-II tanker vessel to its managed fleet, the company confirmed in a filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday.
The newly inducted vessel, MT Quetta, has a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 49,999 tons and was acquired through PNSC’s subsidiary, Quetta Shipping (Private) Limited.
PNSC made the disclosure in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Rule Book, which mandates listed companies to notify the stock exchange of material developments affecting operations or assets.
The induction of MT Quetta strengthens PNSC’s tanker fleet, supporting the corporation’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational capacity and efficiency in the shipping and logistics sector.
