ISLAMABAD: Amid a new wave of terrorism, the National Security Committee (NSC) — the country’s top security body including civil and military leadership — on Friday decided to launch an all-out comprehensive operation to tackle the rising terrorism in the country.

According to a declaration from the Prime Minister’s Office, the development came after Premier Shehbaz Sharif chaired a two-hour-long meeting of the NSC, which was attended by the country’s top security body comprising civil and military leadership
