Aulaad has an interesting plot, logical scenarios and is well written keeping in mind a purpose. We finally get to see a drama, after a long time, in which the storyline revolves around the elders, I.e., parents. It is interesting to see their perspective, that too from an emotional angle. It has been only 3 weeks Aulaad is on air but the storyline with strong characters already seems promising. On top of it, it is also breaking stereotypes and it is refreshing to see a daughter in law having a caring and loving character.

A well-thought script that is still interesting even though the drama is about to end in the weeks to come. The intriguing plot is what has hooked the audience all this time. Though Guddi and Adam have just started to fall in love, it would be interesting to see where it heads in the upcoming episodes.

The drama is so well-executed and well-written, it gives the vibes of old PTV dramas that we thought will never come back, but it is. Huge round of applause for Urwa and Imran for acting brilliantly. A highly recommended drama you shouldn’t miss out on.

This was a much-awaited episode, thanks to the last epidode where Zohra finally reveals her true identity to Moosa. Now the audience was eagerly waiting to see how Moosa will react to this reality. This episode shows that there is no going back for Moosa. On the other hand, Zohra, too, seems to be liking him, which is a bit off as she gave the impression of being a hard-to-get person. Esa and Sakina are two more characters who are coming in the limelight with each episode.

The Love Story Finally Begins! Raqs e Bismil – Episode 4 Review

Moosa is still struggling to name his feelings for Zohra. At one point, he does confess his love for her though. This is against his own beliefs and is contrary to picture of the woman he imagined he would fall in love with. Turns out, Moosa is head over heels in love with Zohra, even after knowing everything about her. In order to find out answers to his questions, Moosa even agrees to pay for a meeting with his love. It would be interesting to see how Ana Ji handles this situation further as she has already got an idea about what is cooking.

Sakina’s character is a bit smarter than the audience anticipated. She is capable of manipulating people and this is exactly what she is doing with Esa. Esa, who has started liking her, is falling for her tricks.

Raqs e Bismil reflects the dual standards we have for male and female in our society. Like when Sakina was in a similar situation, Pir Sahab behaved differently and now with Moosa, he appears to be more relaxed. Also, Pir Sahab is such an influential figure in his area, yet he went to get his son released, why? This could have easily been done via a phone call.

It is needless to say that Moosa and Esa are two characters who are doing exceptionally good acting. Zohra seemed a little bit less impressive today but Sakina surprised everyone with her performance. Looking forward the next episode now.

Pakistan is amongst the few countries where polio virus is still spreading. While other countries have used vaccine and other preventive measures to get rid of this virus, Pakistan is still struggling to vaccinate children and change mindsets of people regarding this vaccine at the same time.

Recently, Polio Vaccine Drives have been happening frequently to contain the spread and eradicate the virus. For this very reason, frontline workers and their efforts must be appreciated. They go home to home in order to ensure that no child under the age of 5 remains deprived of the vaccine, no matter what the circumstances are.

From the current ongoing Polio drive, a video has been circulating on social media. The video is from a remote area of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), which seems almost inaccessible due to knee-high snow. However, the brave polio workers are still making their way to their designated areas. The objective is to make sure they give vaccines to the children and prevent the further spread of the poliovirus.

The video hails from the north-eastern part of the AJK.

In order to reach far-fetched areas, Polio Eradication Program has joined hands with the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI). The goal is to make more and more children immune to the polio virus.

Soon after the video was uploaded, everyone started applauding the brave women who are moving ahead despite of obstacles and are dedicatedly doing their job.

As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, we’ve reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.

Rotary members have contributed more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries from this paralyzing disease. Rotary’s advocacy efforts have played a role in decisions by governments to contribute more than $10 billion to the effort.

Today, polio remains endemic only in Afghanistan and Pakistan. But it’s crucial to continue working to keep other countries polio-free. If all eradication efforts stopped today, within 10 years, polio could paralyze as many as 200,000 children each year.

WhatsApp Introduces New Privacy Policy and Pakistani Memes Are Breaking the Internet

WhatsApp is one of the largest messaging apps globally, especially in Pakistan where people depend on it for chats, calls and transferring documents and pictures. Up till now, WhatsApp was deemed as one of the most reliable platforms for communication because of the privacy and encrypted conversations it offered.

However, recently, WhatsApp came up with an updated privacy policy which did not sit well with most of the users. According to the new policy, WhatsApp can access your group chats and it will then be used by Facebook Inc and its subsidiaries for better targeting the audience for advertisement.

While some people uninstalled the app and moved to other alternatives like Telegram and Signal, Pakistani Twitter got crazy and one after another meme made everyone laugh. Here is how the youth responded on the news with their best of humorous skills.

This episode was full of surprises and drama. Moosa (Imran Ashraf) is still deeply and madly in love with Zohra even though he has not seen a single glimpse of her yet, without veil. All he knows is that Zohra is a pious lady who observes hijab, and this is exactly the kind of woman he would want to marry.

Contrary to his own belief and sayings, Moosa is in love but he is not willing to accept it. He was seen convincing Zohra (Sarah Khan) to marry her throughout the episode. He seemed like a naive person with a soft corner for people, which is not the real Moosa we saw in the previous episodes.

Zohra on the other hand, appreciated whatever Moosa did for her. However, she prefers showing her true self to Moosa instead of just telling him. No wonder Moosa was surprised to the core when he got to know that Zohra is not someone he has perceived to be. She belonged to a family of entertainers and was part of a high-end party when Moosa spotted her.

Esa and Sakina are still trying to figure out things. Sakina proves herself to be more stubborn while Esa is being patient, but he gives Sakina a reality check for sure. Esa also tells her that he is bearing all this because of her parents, who he respects a lot. But the truth is that he also loves Sakina. Momin provokes Sakina and asks her to see who is “Beghairat”; himself or her ex. Seems like this will intrigue Sakina to search for her ex and somehow, she will end up falling in love with Esa.

Increase in Demand for Telegram and Signal After WhatsApp Updates its Terms & Conditions

WhatsApp has been a popular messaging app globally due to its user-friendly features and reach. However, a recent update in its terms and conditions has ignited a debate and some people are not agreeing with it. To an extent that many of the users have started uninstalling the app.

In the wake of this update, an increase in the demand of competitive apps like Telegram and Signal have been seen. Signal also received an endorsement by Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey. Both the accounts have huge following on social media, especially on Twitter where the users questioned the privacy of WhatsApp after the recent T&C update. These activists also suggested their followers to stop using WhatsApp and move to Telegram and Signal instead.

According to the data by Sensor Tower, there were nearly 2.2 million downloads of Telegram and 100,000 downloads of Signal on Apple and Android since then.

In addition to this, Sensor Tower also reported that WhatsApp faced 11% decrease in downloads this week compared to the last one, I.e., 10.5 million worldwide. Last year, there were also rumours circulating that WhatsApp will not be available for free for its users. However, this is not confirmed yet.

About WhatsApp Privacy Terms and Conditions Update

WhatsApp is now asking users to let Facebook Inc. and its subsidiaries to use their data in order to improve Facebook advertising. This will also include sharing their location and phone numbers. Those who do not agree with the new terms and conditions, their accounts will be automatically deleted after some time.

Though One-to-one chat will remain encrypted as part of the new update, access to group chats by WhatsApp and Facebook is what is raising eyebrows.

Nadia Khan Shares Here Valima Pictures and We Are Loving Them

Nadia Khan, a renowned actor, model, producer and budding YouTuber, recently tied the knot for the second time. She looked absolutely breath-taking on her big day.

Days later, she also introduced her husband, a retired Wing Commander, Faisal Mumtaz Rao, to her fans and we could not help but appreciate the couple and wished them all the best for their future life.

“My husband Wing Commander Faisal Mumtaz Rao is a retired PAF officer and fighter pilot. Born in Lahore in 1970, Faisal joined Pakistan Air Force as a commissioned officer in the 90th GDP course back in 1991. He is known to be one of the most competent and distinguished pilots with 30 years of Flying and Management experience with leading air forces of the world,” she wrote in the post.

Nadia Khan got married in an intimate ceremony and took to social media to share details about her wedding. Soon the pictures were everywhere and people were showering the newlywed couple with blessings and prayers.

Pakistan is heading towards a change, at least it seems so, and media is playing a major role in changing the mindsets of people. Thanks to our celebrity influencers who know how much their voices matter and are raising theirs to make a difference.

One of those celebrities is Zahid Ahmed who recently highlighted the dual standards of our society in an interview and said that “It is strange that we are allowed to slap women on TV but cannot show intimacy”.

Zahid’s statement has stirred a new controversy and people are now discussing this matter on social media. Celebrities have also come forward and defended his statement.

One of the celebrities who agree with Zahid is Osman Khalid Butt. Butt posted an Instagram story and wrote, “Strange Indeed”.

One of the users replied to Osman Khalid Butt’s story and said that this is “Just a pathetic excuse to get physical with female actors”.

The social media user also said, “Not to mention the influence it has on society and especially young children and young teens.”

Butt definitely did not agree with this definition of intimacy and decided to school the user. He commented, “Yeah, so reactions like this are wholly predictable,” he further said, “First off: intimacy is not just sex. Secondly, I’d rather my child see a healthy intimate relationship between fictional spouses than, you know, PHYSICAL ABUSE being normalized.” he added in the end, “The nerve to talk about ‘influence’.”

Osman Khalid Butt is very vocal about issues that require attention. Be it showing support for the “Me Too” movement or raising awareness about rape or abuse against women, Butt is always one of the few to raise is voice for the cause.

Mira Sethi is one of the most talented and versatile artists we have got in Pakistan. From modeling to acting to doing theatres and talk shows, she has successfully done them all. The latest update about the model-turned-actor is her debut novel which is listed as one of the most awaited in 2021 by Vogue.

The list of 53 must-read novel is put together by Vogue Magazine and Refinery29. The Yeh Dil Mera famed actor has been mentioning her novel “Are You Enjoying” on her social media platforms for a while now. Senior editor, Vogue, Chloe Schama describes it as a book that is powerful and has a light touch. She also calls Sethi a great storyteller, which is a huge compliment.

Last year, while discussing her upcoming book, Mira Sethi revealed that her book will highlight the stories from the entertainment industry, politics and even what is happening behind the closed bedroom doors.
