What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the field of computer science that studies how to create machines and software that can perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. AI can be divided into two main branches: narrow AI and general AI.

Narrow AI refers to systems that can perform specific tasks, such as face recognition, speech recognition, or chess playing. General AI refers to systems that can exhibit human-like intelligence across a wide range of domains, such as reasoning, learning, planning, and creativity. General AI is still a distant goal for researchers, while narrow AI is already widely used in many applications and industries.

M.Subtain Zahid-Emerging blogger,Infleuncer and Content Creator.

Talent is highly prized around the world, and youthful talent is even more so. It’s incredible to be young and achieve significantly more than folks twice your age. Not everyone is meant to reach a certain level of fulfilment in their lives, but if you are ambitious and determined, you can attain your goals with hard work and devotion. Success is never easy, but it appears significantly more difficult and dangerous when you are young. When it comes to young people making a difference in society or introducing new ideas, the name of Subtain Zahid, a young man from Islamabad, Pakistan, must be mentioned. Being ambitious and beginning to work for your objectives at an early age might be a blessing in disguise,Despite this, many people only realise the worth of time after it has passed. Because they are afraid of the problems they will confront, most young people choose to daydream rather than move out of their comfort zone and work on their goals. Subtain Zahid, on the other hand, holds a different viewpoint. Once you’ve started down the road to success, he believes there’s no turning back. Falling and rising are natural parts of the process, and those who maintain their momentum are lucky. Subtain Zahid is a good example of this.

Who is Subtain Zahid?

Subtain Zahid is a 19-year-old young man. His born in 16th march,2003 in Sheikhupura Punjab.  He currently resides in Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital. He is now pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Bahria University Islamabad. His father works for the government. Since he was in fifth grade, he has wanted to become famous on social media. It was a significant risk, but it provided him the motivation he needed to work hard and try new things. He began blogging in 2019 and has over 200k Instagram followers (Subtain blogs). He also works as an influencer and content provider in addition to writing. He collaborated with a lot of Pakistani companies. He has also worked with global brands and campaigns. Finally, he got his big break when he became renowned on Instagram, Tiktok, and other social media platforms.

What does Subtain Zahid have to say about his success?

It wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows. Subtain experienced his first taste of disappointment at a young age, owing to his early achievement. He tells us of a period when he was on the verge of losing a year. He was 33 percent burned by high voltage current in 2016, spent a month in the ICU, and had to redo grade 9 because he wasn’t prepared for the tests. He understands the value of time and believes that if he didn’t waste it, he would be more senior in the class in which he is currently enrolled. However, everything happens for a reason. If he does not lose his one year, he would never see his helpful and loving friends again. He stated that he had received backing from family and friends is a blessing.

Advice to young Creators.

Subtain learned by trial and error when he first started working in social media and had no one to look up to in Pakistan. But now that he’s settled into his niche, he’s ready to offer some advise to those who are just getting started with social media.

  • If you want to do something in life, you must be determined. There will be many challenges ahead, and you must be bold enough to tackle them all. Just keep in mind that the path to your dream is not easy. So, even if there are no immediate benefits, staying on task and working hard is crucial.
  • Creating a strong team while creating content. Trusting the proper people will take you a long way, and in order to do so, you must carefully select your team. That does not include everyone you know, but only those who are qualified, hardworking, and skilled in their respective industries.
  • Time management, time management is very important. If you say, “I can’t give time to this social media for content creation,” then you are a very lazy person in my opinion, because it is impossible to be busy 24/7. If you look around the world, you will notice that people who are always on top manage their time and work hard.

Wasim Akram apologizes to the people of Karachi

Former fast bowler and captain Wasim Akram, who was present in Muzaffarabad for the Kashmir Premier League, apologized to the people of Karachi after seeing piles of dirt on the Neelum River.

He shared a video on Twitter where the Neelum River was flowing behind him.

At the beginning of the video, the former cricketer showed his surroundings and said that he was not present in Europe or Switzerland but in beautiful Pakistan.

Wasim Akram went on to apologize to the people of Karachi for calling them dirty and unhygienic because he assumed that Karachiites do not care much about cleanliness. This belief of his changed after he saw the piles of dirt placed on the beautiful Neelum River.

He further added that not only are the people of Karachi unsanitary but all of us are very dirty.

SHIFTING SOCIAL NORMS TO STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Social and cultural norms can either protect women against abuse and violence or they can encourage the use of violence against them. The culture of violence against women persists in Pakistani society because it’s deemed acceptable. A religious and traditional belief that men are superior to women, and they have a right to control them with use of force, and discipline them through physical means makes women vulnerable to violence. Harassment, physical violence, bullying, attacks, and cyber threats – It’s always there, isn’t it? And while most of us don’t like it, but are we actually doing something to stop gender-based violence?

Challenging social norms to put an end to violence against women can be approached at different levels, which includes making government policies, mass media campaigns and educating masses. The figures are terrible – violent crimes against women in Pakistan are reaching record levels with every passing year. It seems like it’ll take forever for the criminal justice system to cope with the number of women coming forward with terrible stories of rape, beatings and online forms of abuse. So what are our options? Is there any solution? Is there anything we can do as individuals to defy the culture of violence against women?

Well, there is. But it requires a dramatic shift in social attitudes and public behaviors. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I’ve actually seen people expressing sympathy with a man on trial for rape, asking why the victim had to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. In Pakistan, the general public’s understanding of the law, related to consent is woefully lacking, and there is a persistent tendency to be more critical of the victim’s behaviour than that of the abuser who commits violent assaults. The same callousness is often shown to victims of domestic abuse, who are either accused of lying, or criticized for staying with violent partners even when they have no other choice. If we are serious about changing the dire situation, we have to put an end to the culture of denial and victim-blaming.

Sometimes I think that we are making some progress but every single time the apparent advance is quickly followed by a return to the status quo. If you remember, after the horrific killing of Qandeel Baloch, there was an outpouring of shock and sympathy. But that consensus didn’t last long. Her brother confessed to killing her for family honor and some people literally went on social networking sites to justify this cruel murder by calling the model immodest and bullying everyone who was condemning her murder.

Another hazard that women face on the internet is being bullied with comments on their looks. Let me quote an example from our parliament house when while using derogatory language, specifically targeting a woman, our (now ex) defense minister pointed towards Sheerin Mazari and said, “Someone make this tractor trolley keep quiet” when she protested against his speech on load shedding. In a country where even the lawmakers cannot correctly identify a gender-specific form of abuse, it’s safe to assume that we have reached a startling level of denial as a nation.

Abuse against women in our society is at epidemic proportions. Some of this violence is driven by technology but the biggest problem by far is tolerance. A society which is genuinely committed to gender equality would never put up with a situation like this for a moment. But violence against women is embedded into our culture. The reason is that we, as a society, let it slide and have become immune to the dangerous implications. It will take a lot of effort to shift toward a culture that turns away from violence and abuse. But to make this possible we will have to stand together as one. Being a part of society, the responsibility lies on our shoulders to help rid the world of abuse and violence. We, who have the voices and the power to do so, must choose to stand up and speak out.

Most of the victims of violence and abuse suffer in silence and there are a very few who can find the strength to speak up or seek help. The question is what will you do to help the victims end this suffering?

Till now, the song ‘Mahiya’ still remains a fan favorite, and it got onboard only on SnackVideo. Mufti Abdul Qavi is a prominent Islamic Scholar; however, these are the controversies with women that keep him in the limelight. Earlier, it was Qandeel Baloch and now his latest video surfaced with Hareem Shah, a Tiktok Influencer.

Shah shared a video of herself and Qavi on Monday in which she can be seen slapping the cleric. In the video, Qavi is sitting on the bed when out of nowhere, Shah lands a slap on his face because of his ‘vulgar’ remarks.

The video is from a hotel in Karachi which has also been uploaded on Hareem Shah’s Instagram account where she says, ““I will share the reason for slapping Mufti Qavi soon.”

While talking to a media channel, Shah said that the reason she slapped Qavi is that she lost her patience. The scholar engaged in inappropriate conversation with her and a cousin who went there with her.

The Tiktok star also shared that Mufti Qavi shamelessly talked about drugs, alcohol and forbidden sexual relationships.

Shah also claims that they have recording of the whole conversation and public can decide themselves whether or not this slap was justified. She went on to say that she has no regrets of hitting Qavi.

In his defence, Mufti Qavi says that this was a sudden slap and he was not expecting this. All this happened when he was drinking tea and these two women entered to slap him and left.

This is too early to comment on this story. All we know is that both the characters have been in news in the past for all the wrong reasons. Moreover, it is better to wait for more details to form an opinion.

Research suggests that in the last five decades the Earth is rotating faster than it ever has. This has made experts realize that 2021 could become the shortest year in decades, even shorter than 2020.

Source: Facebook

However, this does not mean that we will be celebrating 2022 shortly. In fact, the time difference will be so nominal that we will not be able to notice that. The earth will move faster only a few milliseconds. That is, it!

All this is happening because our planet is moving faster on its axis. This is making days shorter and no one exactly knows the reason behind it yet.

Scientists believe that a number of factors are responsible for this difference including motion of the Earth’s molten core, its atmosphere and the oceans.

Understanding Time

One day is the time required by the Earth to complete its rotation around the sun. In order to measure this time period, experts have come up with hours, minutes and seconds.

It is anticipated that a day will be 0.05 milliseconds shorter than a regular 24-hour day in 2021 because of the Earth’s fast speed.

Understanding Leap Years and Leap Seconds

The concept of leap years is known to many of us. in leap years, after every four years, a day is added to February to ensure we match the pace of the Earth.

Similar to the concept of leap years, leap seconds were introduced and since 1972, 27 leap seconds have been added to our clocks. However, since 2016, no leap seconds have been added because the earth is now moving a little bit slower.

It is said, that if the situation goes around like this, we will soon have to take away a leap second from our clocks to match the movement of the earth.

Thinking about how this will be done? Let us leave this to the experts!
