DIB Pakistan has launched its refreshed global brand identity across multiple branch locations nationwide, signaling a strategic shift toward a more modern, purpose-driven phase of growth. The rebranding comes as the institution marks two decades of operations in Pakistan, while strengthening its alignment with its parent legacy in Islamic finance.
The transformation reflects the broader vision of its parent institution, Dubai Islamic Bank, which has played a leading role in advancing Islamic banking globally for more than 50 years. The new identity is designed to reinforce both heritage and future ambition, positioning the bank as a progressive force in ethical and Shariah-compliant financial services.
The updated branding introduces a redesigned logo that merges the DIB wordmark with a “Globus” symbol. The visual identity features a three-dimensional globe encircled by an Islamic arabesque pattern, representing a blend of global reach and Islamic tradition. The green and gold tones emphasize continuity, trust, and established values, while a deep burgundy core highlights innovation, energy, and customer-focused financial solutions.
According to Muhammad Ali Gulfaraz, the rebranding reflects a forward-looking philosophy centered on sustained progress and transformation. He emphasized that the initiative is not only a visual change but also a strategic commitment to expanding financial inclusion and enhancing digital banking services across Pakistan.
The bank’s leadership has positioned the new identity under a broader vision of technological advancement and customer experience improvement. With increasing investment in digital platforms, DIB Pakistan aims to deliver faster, more seamless banking solutions while maintaining its core principles of ethical and trust-based finance.
As part of the rollout, the new branding has already been introduced at key public locations, including Jinnah International Airport, alongside multiple branches across the country. The updated identity is also reflected in a redesigned mobile banking application, offering customers a more streamlined and modern digital interface.
Industry observers view this rebranding as part of a wider trend among financial institutions in the region, where banks are increasingly focusing on digital transformation, brand modernization, and customer-centric ecosystems to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
DIB Pakistan’s refreshed identity underscores its long-term strategy of combining Islamic banking principles with innovation-driven growth. By strengthening its digital infrastructure and expanding its customer engagement channels, the bank aims to reinforce its position as a leading ethical financial institution in Pakistan’s banking sector.
With this transformation, DIB Pakistan signals a new chapter defined by modernization, resilience, and sustainable growth, while continuing to build on its legacy as a key player in Islamic banking both locally and globally.
