PUBG MOBILE has launched its highly anticipated Version 4.3 update, introducing a range of new features, collaborations, and in-game events to celebrate the game’s 8th anniversary. The update, available until May 10, 2026, brings an exciting themed gameplay mode, anime collaborations, and major improvements across several game modes.
One of the biggest highlights of the update is the new Evolving Universe themed mode. This mode transforms the battlegrounds into a futuristic, space-inspired environment with new mechanics and gameplay features. Players exploring Erangel will experience revamped urban areas, spacetime distortions, racing gameplay, and dynamic rail systems that significantly change the pace of combat.
The new mode also introduces passive skill specializations designed to match different playstyles. Players can choose their specialization before entering the match or on Spawn Island and gradually upgrade their abilities as the game progresses. In addition, players receive an Energy Rank ranging from C to S based on their performance and in-game behavior.
As part of its anniversary celebrations, PUBG MOBILE has collaborated with the globally renowned band OneRepublic. Players who update the game will receive early access to the band’s new track “LEAN,” which serves as the official PUBG MOBILE theme song for 2026.
The update also introduces a collaboration with popular digital creator MrBeast. Players can encounter themed content inspired by the creator within the battlegrounds and unlock special in-game rewards, including an exclusive MrBeast hoodie.
Anime fans will also be excited to see the return of Jujutsu Kaisen to the game. The collaboration brings back fan-favorite characters such as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo, along with new character sets including Suguru Geto and Ryomen Sukuna. Players can unlock themed outfits, weapons, and collectibles inspired by the anime series.
Beyond collaborations, Version 4.3 also introduces improvements to multiple game modes. Classic Mode has received combat upgrades, new weapons such as the M1 Garand, and environmental updates on Erangel. Metro Royale returns with Chapter 31, bringing new collectibles and items, while Home Mode introduces the glazed palace design style and additional gameplay elements.
The update also expands the World of Wonder creator ecosystem. Developers have enhanced incentives for map creators and introduced new earning opportunities through the Creation Shop and competitive events like WOW DASH. Players participating in the event will compete on custom maps for a share of a $100,000 prize pool.
To mark the anniversary milestone, PUBG MOBILE will also host global community celebrations, including a large-scale anniversary carnival at the Great Pyramid of Giza in Cairo. The event will feature live music, esports show matches, and performances by regional artists, highlighting the game’s massive global community.
With new collaborations, gameplay innovations, and worldwide celebrations, the Version 4.3 update marks one of the most ambitious updates in the history of PUBG MOBILE.
