‘Rehnay ki Jagah’ tops internet trends

‘Rehnay ki Jagah’ raised eyebrows minutes after its launch on social media. #FaisalTown became the top trend on Twitter a few minutes after releasing the film early this month. #RehnayKiJagah #Adfilm and #SimiRahael also made their space among the top 10 trends on the micro-blogging platform. The release was a real success as it was amassed to be the longest trend more than 25 hours after the release. Users were praising Faisal Town for its innovative and great idea to showcase the aspect of safety in the housing society.

The expectations were very high because the emotional story of the much-anticipated Ad film has made the strongest hearts crumble with the love, care, and freedom of women shown on screen. The film has finally been released after much speculation by fans in the past few days. It has filled its purpose of giving a strong and bold message to the viewers about the future of innovative housing concepts. This approximately five minutes long Ad produced by Faisal Town purposefully reveals the message of women’s security in the gated community offered by residential societies.

The poster and teaser before the release gave a glimpse of the iconic figure from Pakistan’s media industry, Simi Rahael. She was shown taking care of her belongings, recalling past memories of her late husband and treatment of traditional in-laws.

Soon after the release of the film, people started pouring out emotions about it. The incredible acting of Simi Rahael, emotional music, outclass cinematography, and fantastic storyline brew curiosity among viewers. Viewers were super excited to see her with something new and ardent to watch the full film having loads of emotions. Simi Rahael’s return to the screen after a long interval and her role as a mother almost broke the internet or at least has social media buzzing for days.

The Ad Film produced by Faisal Town puts up the idea of secure living places but the director Rafay Rumi and the team have indicted a fresh viewpoint to boost the morale of the women in society whether young or old that there is no time or age to do or achieve what you want in your life.

The sense of security amalgamated with the love of a mother-son duo and family bonding is unrelatable. The film starts with the scene of an old mother leaving her generation’s old house because her son bought a new house for her. She was widowed at a very young age; the day comes when her son buys a new house. Mixed reactions of joy and sorrow create emotional vibes and one feels like something unexpected is going to happen in the next scene. When she moves to the new place that she can call her own, the luxuries of an innovatively built house amazed her. She can roam free and even ride a scooty without any fear at a new place which she can’t before due to overcrowded locality but the new house is located inside a spacious gated community having gates for entry and exit.

She worked hard to raise kids and his son paid her back and helped her in pursuing forgotten dreams. Simi Rahael beautifully performed the character. Viewers appreciated her comeback and role in “Rehnay ki Jagah”. They paid heartful tribute to the actress and film crew for creating such a masterpiece with sound effects and emotions. Faisal Town has also been endorsed as one of the safest ‘Rehnay ki Jagah’ by Twitterati.

Passengers to be served free tea at airports in Pakistan

Airline passengers will now be offered free-of-cost tea at major airports across Pakistan.

According to details, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has decided to provide free tea to passengers at airports across the country. Free tea will be provided to passengers both in the international and domestic lounges.

The service will initially be provided to passengers traveling through the Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore airports. The project was being implemented on the directions of the Minister for Aviation, Khawaja Saad Rafiq.

In a statement, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson said that tenders have been invited from tea suppliers for the purpose. In three to four weeks, airports will start serving free tea to the travellers, he added.

A similar service had been introduced at the Skardu airport in 2016 in view of the unavailability of tea shops in the region.

Pak vs NZ: Babar Azam leads Pakistan to victory against New Zealand

Pakistan Saturday registered their second win in the ongoing tri-nation series in New Zealand as skipper Babar Azam powered his side by scoring 79 runs off 58 deliveries.

After choosing to bat first, the Black Caps appeared to be on course for a modest 147-run total at Hagley Oval before Chapman’s 32 off 16 balls, which featured three fours and two sixes.

Pakistan went clear in the series as they chased down the target, having beaten Bangladesh by 21 runs in the series-opener at the same venue on Friday.

The three teams are using the week-long tournament to prepare for the T20 World Cup in Australia this month.

New Zealand laid the foundation of their innings through opener Devon Conway (36 off 35) and captain Kane Williamson (31 off 30), although both struggled for timing during a 61-run stand for the second wicket.

It was another frustrating outcome for the accomplished Williamson, who has passed 50 on just two occasions in all formats over the last 18 months, a period that has encompassed 29 innings.

He was clean-bowled attempting a slog-sweep off spinner Mohammad Nawaz, while Chapman holed out to a slower ball from Pakistan´s best bowler, paceman Haris Rauf (3-28).

Pakistan are playing with the same squad that won against Bangladesh yesterday.

Speaking after the toss, skipper Babar Azam said they are expecting a better show from the middle order.
